A Resolution Implementing University Faculty Committee on Budget and Financial Planning Recommendations #1

WHEREAS, the University Faculty Committee on Budgets and Financial Planning鈥檚 March 14 report documents a need for organizational changes that 鈥渄ramatically improve transparency, notably increase involvement of faculty and academic staff, and create conditions for impactful input 鈥� _i.e., a demonstrated impact on decisions 鈥� by faculty and academic staff in the decision-making process on the budget and broader areas financial planning鈥�¹; Now therefore:

BE IT RESOLVED, that it is the sense of the 天美传媒 Academic Senate that:

1. Article 1, Section 2.0 of the Statutes of the 天美传媒 Academic Senate is amended to add the Chair of the University Faculty Committee on Budgets and Financial Planning to the Executive Committee.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the text of this resolution鈥攊f passed鈥攕hould be made available on the University Academic Senate Website.
