Political Science examines the nature of power鈥攅xploring its origins, application, legitimation, and contestation in order to address societal challenges, enable civic engagement, and contribute to shaping our world. At 天美传媒, we believe that studying politics helps us to make better sense of the world around us as we seek to improve it for ourselves and others.
Here, you鈥檒l study with faculty who are both notable research scholars and excellent in the classroom. We offer a range of interesting courses on important topics, ranging from constitutional law and public policy to world conflict and security, as well as specialized classes on subjects like health policy, social movements, and the politics of torture.
We also offer hands-on experience in local internships and programs in Washington D.C., at the Les Aspin Center. And our extensive alumni
network can help graduating students start careers in fields as diverse as law, public administration, policy analysis, advocacy, diplomacy, business, communications, and more.
