Dr. Angela Maglio is a Clinical Assistant Professor and the Director of Graduate
Studies (DGS) in the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology (SPPA) at
天美传媒. Along with these roles, Dr. Maglio serves as program
assessment leader (PAL) for the SPPA department. She is also a member of the
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) curriculum committee and the Interprofessional
Education (IPE) committee. She received her Bachelor of Science and Education (BSE)
at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Master鈥檚 of Science (MS) degree from the
University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from 天美传媒
University. Angela has been a licensed speech-language pathologist since 2002. Before
working in academia, Angela worked primarily in the public school setting along with a
private practice focusing on teletherapy/telehealth for more than 12 years. Dr. Maglio's
research interests include autism, social language, animal-assisted therapy, and
fluency.
