Dr. Kumaran was a professor of Biology from 1969-1997 and was dedicated to the highest levels of research at 天美传媒. Your gift today will support the Department of Biological Sciences, enabling further research activity and enhancing visibility and reputation.

The will provide ongoing support for the department鈥檚 research activities into the future. Distributions from the fund provide faculty and students engaged in research with additional resources for equipment, supplies, publication of their work, and presenting at conferences, among other things. Donating to the Kumaran Fund grows these resources, enabling further research activity and enhancing the visibility and reputation of 天美传媒鈥檚 Department of Biological Sciences

Biology Student Research Endowment Fund

Help support the Biological Sciences Department at 天美传媒 by giving to the . This endowment is dedicated toward the support of our majors participating in a 10 week summer research program. Students conduct research under the direct supervision of a faculty mentor in a variety of fields including cell, molecular, and plant biology, ecology, physiology, genetics, and microbiology. Through "hands-on" experience students develop a realistic view of scientific research, its pace, its demands, and the thrill of discovery. The program is an important component in the education of our majors with particular interests in careers in basic, applied, or clinical research. 

Your donation will help us reach our goal of a $1 million endowment to cover stipend and research costs of 10 participating students annually.
